Product Designer - Mobile UI & Design System (Mid/Senior)

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland, focusing on mobile UI and design system development. This role is for someone with a strong visual skillset and practical experience in mobile design, capable of transitioning from a general concept to a final interface and scalable solutions ready for implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop the visual direction of the application and translate it into a coherent interface language.
• Design high-fidelity mockups for the mobile application.
• Create and expand a scalable mobile design system - from foundations, tokens, and components to states, interaction patterns, and documentation.
• Design solutions considering the specifics of iOS and Android.
• Create prototypes to verify interface behavior, interactions, and motion.
• Collaborate closely with another Product Designer to develop UI and maintain visual consistency and quality of the product.
• Work closely with mobile developers during the design and implementation of solutions.
• Ensure accessibility, visual quality, and consistency of the designed solutions.
• Verify the quality of implementation as part of design QA.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in digital product design.
• Practical experience in designing commercial mobile applications, especially large B2C e-commerce or m-commerce products. Experience in other large-scale digital products such as automotive, fintech, banking, or telco is a plus.
• Strong visual/UI design skills - excellent sense of visual hierarchy, typography, color, layout, and interaction details.
• Experience in establishing the visual direction of a product from scratch or based on existing branding and the ability to transition from exploration to a coherent, justified solution.
• Practical application of design patterns for iOS and Android and understanding when solutions should be shared and when platform-specific solutions are appropriate.
• Experience in creating and expanding a design system used in a commercial product.
• Understanding of how to translate the visual language of a product into foundations, tokens, components, variants, and usage guidelines.
• Experience in close collaboration with developers - from consulting on solutions and technical constraints to implementation and quality verification.
• Practical application of accessibility principles in designing mobile interfaces and components.
• Ability to clearly present and justify design decisions and work constructively with feedback.
• Proficiency in Polish and English at a level that allows for fluent work in both languages.

Nice to Have

• Experience in designing white-label, multi-brand, or multi-product and platform design systems and making decisions about which elements to share and which to keep specific to a product or brand.
• Experience in creating design system strategies and planning its development.
• Experience with Storybook or similar tools.
• Experience in designing motion and more advanced mobile interactions.
• Experience in using AI in visual exploration, prototyping, or working with a design system.
