Product Evaluation Scientist (d/m/w) - befristet

Henkel is seeking a Product Evaluation Scientist for a temporary position in Düsseldorf, Germany. This role involves comprehensive support, execution, and evaluation of hairdresser and salon tests for professional products, retail brands, and future technologies.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive support, execution, and evaluation of hairdresser and salon tests for professional products, retail brands, and future technologies.
• Acting as a central interface between hairdresser professionals and laboratory teams to ensure effective information and knowledge transfer.
• Professional creation of reports and presentations in German and English for internal and international stakeholders.
• Structured consolidation and analysis of reports from the global CTI (Consumer Technical Insights) organization to create cross-departmental management reports.
• Thorough analysis of test results, identification of relevant insights, and derivation of data-based recommendations for product development and optimization.
• Continuous development, optimization, and standardization of test methods and evaluation processes.
• Sustainable promotion of methodological understanding within the team through training, expert advice, and knowledge exchange.

Requirements

• Completed training in the hairdressing trade and a degree in cosmetic science, hair research, consumer testing, or a comparable field.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting and summarizing complex information.
• Proven experience in creating clearly structured reports and presentations for different target groups.
• High ability for cross-departmental collaboration and mediation between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
