Our five Behaviors-Traveler First, Think Big, Operate with Excellence, Ownership Mindset, and Succeed Together-help foster a supportive environment where people can grow their careers and have the flexibility, benefits, and support to do their best work. Join us and build for travelers everywhere.

The Search & Recommendations Experience team sits within Expedia Group's Search, Recommendations & Personalisation organisation and owns the platforms and experiences that help millions of travellers discover, compare, and select properties across Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo.

Responsibilities

  • Own the platform vision, roadmap, and end-to-end experience for the lodging Search Results Page (SRP) across Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo, spanning desktop, mobile web, and native apps.
  • Improve how travelers browse and evaluate properties through the SRP experience.
  • Lead the evolution of SRP property cards, including card layout, content hierarchy, badges, amenity and location highlights, review content, and configurable components that can scale across brands and platforms.
  • Drive the next generation of SRP experiences, including Natural Language Search tabs, query playback, semantic result groupings, AI Overview, on-card explanations, and more.
  • Translate traveler and business needs into clear product requirements, experiments, and prioritized delivery plans.
  • Partner closely with Design, Engineering, Brand teams, and Analytics to align on scope, dependencies, technical feasibility, and a consistent cross-brand experience.
  • Own initiatives across the full product lifecycle from PRD development and user testing through go-to-market, experimentation, and iteration; to address customer needs and deliver business goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, or equivalent experience leading customer-facing digital products.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and translate customer needs into clear requirements.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative insights, experimentation, and product metrics to guide decisions.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and business stakeholders.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to partner effectively on APIs, platform dependencies, data, experimentation, and implementation trade-offs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready storytelling and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, dependencies, risks, and end-to-end delivery.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building search, discovery, recommendations, personalization, marketplace, travel products and platforms.
  • Experience owning complex Search results or browsing experiences across web and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with ranking, filters, sorting, product cards, maps, relevance, or search quality metrics.
  • Experience with AI-powered products, Natural Language Search, semantic search, or explainable experiences.
  • Experience partnering with Machine Learning, Data Science, or Content Platform teams.
  • Experience designing and evaluating A/B tests and measuring funnel outcomes such as Search Results-to-Product Details progression and conversion.
  • Experience working across multiple brands, platforms, or shared product capabilities in a complex organization.
