Product Manager, Intern

About the Position

HTC offers an internship for Product Managers to guide new products from design to market, providing technical experience and insights into the mobile industry.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Product Management team to guide new HTC products from design through product entry and product refresh cycles.
• Develop and manage product customization and commercialization requirements for hardware, software, packaging, and application development with respect to launching products with customers.
• Identify, design, and document customer and business requirements that guide go-to-market activities.
• Create and manage detailed schedules for new products and maintenance releases on existing products.
• Support the product post-launch process through identification and documentation of in-market performance opportunities.
• Provide schedule and product status reporting to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving based on data gathering, root cause analysis, understanding of conflicting priorities and perspectives, and creativity.
• Strong program and project management skills, including developing/managing schedules and managing issues and risk.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
• Computer skills; Microsoft Office Products.
• College degree preferred.
