Product Owner

About the Position

We are expanding the delivery team and hiring a Product Owner for a large-scale energy project that is already in the active delivery phase. The project is complex, and business-critical, and its results will directly influence the future of the Ukrainian energy sector, including its digital and green energy transformation. If you enjoy working close to delivery, stakeholders, and clients – this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with stakeholders and perform ongoing prioritization, publishing, and refinement of the overall backlog in a project team and according to the project scope of deliverables;
• Analysis and solution design with the team to transform scope into sprint backlogs;
• Lead planning and the breakdown of the backlog into items, providing their definitions, acceptance criteria, and estimates;
• Collaboratively develop, present the functionality, and collect feedback from end customers;
• Report and escalate on the use of budget and expected due dates;
• Document functional solution designs and prepare delivery documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a product owner working in IT;
• At least one enterprise project delivered end-to-end;
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks;
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities;
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving;
• Requirements engineering;
• Excellent soft skills;
• Mandatory: Ukrainian - native; English - Upper Intermediate;
• BSc/BA Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related for understanding of product solution architecture.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with customer management, billing, and financial solutions;
• Previous revenue management with one of the following industries – energy, utility, telco.
