Product Owner

Rabat, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Morocco

Responsibilities

• Characterization of Needs

  • Define needs and, if necessary, lead clarification workshops with requesters.
  • Contribute to technical qualification with developers.
  • Contribute to the cost estimation of new projects.
  • Identify needs for service accounts, application accounts, and necessary access.

• Writing Requirements and Functional Specifications

  • Lead the writing of requirements and functional specifications with requesters.
  • Create Epics from requirements and specifications.

• Planning and Supervision of Development Phases

  • Coordinate all involved actors.
  • Create JIRA tickets with developers.
  • Lead agile routines: backlog reviews, cost estimation meetings, retrospectives, demos.
  • Monitor the progress of developments.
  • Prepare acceptance test plans with requesters.

• Supporting Requesters in Testing and Acceptance Phases

• Coordination of Deployment

• Communication and Deployment Animation

  • Ensure the creation of a descriptive slide for each development.
  • Ensure the update of the development catalog.
  • Travel abroad is expected (notably to ODC Morocco, Romania...).

Requirements

• Education

  • Bac+5: engineering degree or Master 2.

• Experience

  • 3 to 8 years of experience.

• Language

  • Fluent English (exchanges with international ODC).

• Core Skills

  • Project management (planning, multi-actor coordination, progress monitoring).
  • Analysis and synthesis (gathering and formalizing needs, writing requirements and specifications).
  • Knowledge of the addressed professions (technical departments, support functions).
  • Knowledge of technical environments, ability to dialogue with developers.

• Tools and Methods

  • Agile methods (Scrum): backlog, cost estimation, retrospectives, demos.
  • JIRA (Epics, tickets, sprint tracking).
  • Acceptance and deployment management.

• Soft Skills

  • Proactive, service-oriented, comfortable leading workshops and meetings.
