Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner/Product Manager with strong experience in agile environments and data quality to join our team in Krakow, Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Co-develop and maintain a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for building out our digital platform solutions.
  • Define and maintain Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) aligned to product and business strategy.
  • Collaborate with end users in IB Operations to communicate the art of the possible and identify business processes that require transformation and migration onto new platforms.
  • Assess potential use cases objectively and understand business value vs cost of the solution, looking to reuse or extend existing capabilities where feasible.
  • Influence the design of new solutions to deliver benefit for multiple stakeholders where possible.
  • Maintain pod and iteration backlogs in GitLab to a high standard.
  • Assist with relevant data sourcing, ensuring compliance with the firm's policies.
  • Obtain necessary governance approvals for new use cases/solutions.
  • Keep current with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI/ML space, and apply external perspectives and insights to improve our offering.
  • Mitigate impediments to the team's goals, align across pods and with other crews where needed, and act as your pod's ambassadors towards internal stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

  • Must have

    • Senior Business Analyst / Product Manager working in agile environments with a strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product management.
    • Experience in Data Quality: legacy data alignment.
    • Validations & Controls.
    • Historical Data Remediation.
    • Experience in researching user pain points and translating these into requirements.
    • Comfortable analyzing business processes, documenting before and after states.
    • Setting and delivering outcome-focused goals, such as using OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
    • Team player with high personal standards, enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels.
    • Focus on value creation from adoption and usage beyond the technical delivery.
  • Nice to Have

    • Knowledge/expertise with relevant experience in Kafka, Flink, Elastic Search, and Flowable technologies.
