Productie Manager Extrusie

To strengthen our operational Extrusie team, we are looking for an experienced and motivating Production Manager. You will focus on production control, project guidance, and leading an experienced team. Responsibilities

• Oversee a safe working environment and propose improvements
• Ensure production according to customer specifications
• Monitor, analyze, and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of production
• Manage and improve the Extrusie department. Lead, coach, convince, and inspire this team
• Implement specific plans for process and procedure improvements
• Guide and initiate (improvement) projects

With your passion, experience, and dedication, you will guide the production team in the transition to a higher safety awareness, focus on quality, and data-driven productivity improvement. Furthermore, you will promote optimization through Lean and continuous improvement.

You will report to the Plant Manager Extrusie.

Requirements

• A completed HBO/WO education
• Background and affinity with a production/technical environment
• Leadership experience and the drive to convince and inspire people
• Strong, social, good listener, and communicative skills
• Ability to delegate effectively
• Experience and knowledge of improvement projects in a production environment
• A Lean Green or Black Belt is a plus

You are knowledgeable, results-oriented, and risk-aware. In this role, it is important to quickly switch between different layers in the organization. With your excellent communication skills, you can convince both people on the shop floor and management of your findings and recommendations and can also handle resistance to change.
