About the Role

We are looking for a Production Assistant / Stage Manager to join our Fever Originals team in Istanbul, Turkey. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the technical and operational execution of our live events, ensuring unforgettable experiences for our audience.

Responsibilities

1. Pre-production: Scouting (only if needed and requested by PM)

Research venues, technical service providers, and talent agencies.
Act as the main point of contact for the scouting process.
Engage third parties for information and keep the Producer and Project Manager updated.

2. Pre-production: Technical Preparation (only if needed and requested by Producer)

Review AV materials, script, and cue sheets.
Proofread and translate scripts, record voiceovers.
Complete QLab training and join kick-off and alignment meetings.

3. Local Stakeholder Management

Act as the main point of contact for the cast, talent agency, and venues.
Prepare the show proactively and supervise rehearsals.

4. On Site: Before the Show

Ensure the venue is ready and set up as planned.
Welcome actors and brief them on schedules and logistics.
Coordinate entrances, exits, and stage timing.

5. On Site: During the Show

Direct the live show, coordinating staff and actors.
Take full ownership of show control using QLab.
Manage scene, lighting, sound, and video changes.
Handle voting and verdicts, and troubleshoot technical issues in real-time.

6. General

Deal with attendees, cast, and third parties professionally.

Requirements

Native Turkish and fluent English.
Experience in theatre or live event production or stage management.
Knowledge of QLab or willingness to learn.
Familiarity with live lighting, sound, and video.
Strong organization and autonomy.

Engagement Terms

Type of Engagement: Independent contractor (freelance, VAT-registered)
Location: Turkey (Istanbul - main, Thessaloniki); remote work allowed, on-site presence in Turkey as required
Reports to: Fever Originals Producer and Project Manager
