About the Position
Production Department Manager (d/f/m)
Henkel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Department Manager to join our team in Düsseldorf, Germany. This role is pivotal in leading the plant cell/department, ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the entire plant cell/department.
- Serve as a strong role-model in safety, quality, and the ongoing delivery of high standards.
- Own in-process and output measures of the Cell (output KPIs: safety, quality, operational excellence, productivity, and cost) (In-process KPIs: qualification level, DMS execution, loss elimination, maintenance).
- Build the business through ongoing improvement and project execution.
- Build the organization by developing the team and leaders within the organization.
- Implement Lean manufacturing according to Henkel standards (HPS) as a way of work in the Cell/team.
- Strive for ongoing improvement by implementing the best industry practices and promoting self and team development.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a technical field.
- 3 years of relevant professional experience in a production leadership position.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)/Food industry, understanding of mixing processes, sequence, and dosage, and experience in Batch and production control is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of hygiene and quality topics.
- Technically savvy.
- Strong practical Lean manufacturing / Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) / Integrated Work Systems (IWS) skills.
- Fluent language skills in German and English.
