Boeing Ukraine is currently looking for a Production Engineering Manager to join our Production Engineering Team in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, direct all project phases, and act as the primary customer contact for project activities.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Implement policies and procedures and set operational goals.
- Acquire resources for projects and processes, coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serve as a liaison between project and team, finance, sourcing, and scheduling.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Manage via project deliverables, all technical and functional staff assigned to the project.
- Identify and manage actively opportunities, risks, and issues to ensure effective resolution or mitigation, and coordinate required activities to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and the associated critical path(s).
- Track and report project status relative to the approved business case and scope, with transparency and insight into the overall health of the project.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and investigate problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
- Effectively run project meetings from project kick-off to post-implementation review ensuring all stakeholders meet their responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large-scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- Upper-intermediate English.
- Existing rights to work in Ukraine.
- Extensive Project Management experience.
- Highly competent in using MS Office products in general.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role.
