Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Jhagadia Factory
Reports To: Assistant Manager Production
Responsibilities
- Responsible for manufacturing the right product, using the correct weighed raw materials as per the batch card and achieving optimum yield by maintaining batch cycle time.
- Basic maintenance of equipment and knowledge of autonomous maintenance.
- Lead toolbox meetings in shifts and delegate shift responsibilities for safe and quality production.
- Keep the shop floor and production area clean during and after production and monitor productivity.
- Follow all safety and health procedures and disposal norms to protect the environment.
- Maintain records such as logbooks, weighment registers, labeling registers, calibrations, etc.
- Identify issues on a shift-to-shift basis and capture them in the logbook. Capture breakdown and maintenance logs in the logbook for next shift handover and workshop head information.
- Strictly follow systems and procedures as per ISO 9001 / 14001.
- Ability to handle labor and ensure daily work is completed.
- Data entry of production on a shift basis and ensure shift inventory management.
Requirements
- Functional Competencies:
- Knowledge of production processes.
- Manpower handling.
- Knowledge of safety rules for production activities.
- Basic maintenance of equipment.
Academic Qualifications/Experience
- B.Sc, Diploma in Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical with 2-5 years’ experience in production.
