About the Position
We are seeking a Production Support Engineer L3(Java) with 6-9 years of experience to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will be working in a newly set-up technology center located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
Responsibilities
- Provide L3 production support for Digital Banking applications, ensuring high availability and service reliability.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring application issues.
- Support application deployments, production releases, and change implementation activities.
- Develop and support application enhancements using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Analyze application logs, SQL queries, and system behavior to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams during incident resolution and project delivery.
- Monitor application health and proactively identify potential production issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, incident reports, and operational procedures.
- Participate in release planning, production support activities, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 6-9 years of experience in application development and L3 production support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Experience working with XML and SQL.
- Experience supporting enterprise Digital Banking or Banking applications.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle databases.
- Experience working in HPUX, Linux, or Solaris environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience supporting production releases, deployments, and change management activities.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
