Competition for the position of Program Assistant for Monitoring and Evaluation

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

East Europe Foundation is announcing a competition for the position of Program Assistant for Monitoring and Evaluation to provide support programs planning, implementation, and reporting within the activities EEF is now carrying out, particularly those focused on international development, restoration, emergency situations, and stabilization.

Responsibilities

  • Help carry out the monitoring and evaluation plans and control their implementation, take part in the development and application of the instruments for data collection within the programs and projects of EEF.
  • Support the introduction and management of a system for program portfolio monitoring and the implementation of activities related to monitoring and evaluation of projects and programs.
  • Collect data on program activities and update the database.
  • Conduct monitoring of program activities, training sessions, conferences, discussions, and seminars.
  • Help organize and take part in monitoring activities like surveys, focus group questionnaires, and interviews.
  • Take part in forming grant applications within EEF’s fundraising activities, develop documents related to monitoring and evaluation (logical models, result matrices, plans of monitoring and evaluation for projects, monitoring and evaluation of project applications/proposals).
  • Form communication materials based on the results of monitoring and evaluation activities within EEF’s projects and programs.
  • Translate project documentation, reports, and analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s (or equivalent) degree in social work, economics, sociology, management, or other relevant areas.
  • Good command in MS Office, EXCEL, SQL, and Power BI will be a plus.
  • Good communication skills (in Ukrainian and English).
  • Work experience in non-governmental organizations or donor-funded project environments will be an advantage.
  • Practical knowledge of monitoring and evaluation processes of programs and projects of international aid which is being implemented in Ukraine.
