About the Position

East Europe Foundation is excited to announce an opening for the position of Program Assistant for the Zrozumilo! Educational Online Platform. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Kyiv, Ukraine, with a start date in July-August 2024.

Responsibilities

  • Workflow Organization: Scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, taking notes from meetings and events, and managing correspondence (incoming and outgoing).
  • Document Management: Preparing documents for tenders, ensuring stable work with contractors, customers, program teams, monitoring contract performance, and ensuring proper storage of all documents.
  • Program Activities Assistance: Assisting in organizing program activities (meetings, conferences, round tables, training events, working visits, and business trips) and providing logistical support.
  • Online Course Preparation: Participating in the preparation of online courses at all stages: preparation of necessary documents, communication with the contractor, program team, and speakers. If necessary, and at the request of the management, attend the film set.
  • Forming requests for payments in the Fund’s automated system.
  • Assisting in preparing program documents: plans, reports.
  • Monitoring resources that publish grant proposals. Assisting in preparing proposals for grant applications.
  • Execution of a wide range of assignments of the manager of the Zrozumilo! Educational Online Platform related to the implementation of the program and activities of the Foundation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Management, Public Administration, Pedagogy, Social Sciences, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of specialized work experience.
  • Confident knowledge of PC and MS Office and Google Drive tools.
  • Good communication skills in Ukrainian and English.
  • Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.
  • Experience in the education, public sector, and/or international organizations will be an advantage.
