About the Position

Program Coordinator - Swedish

Since 1958, STS has provided international education in the form of high school exchanges around the world. Today we have offices in several countries and a large global network of partners, schools, host families, and local employees all over the world. We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team and take responsibility over the Swedish market and students.

Your daily tasks will mainly consist of communicating with our future and existing students, their parents, and international partners. You will be handling administrative tasks, preparing and supporting the students and parents throughout the exchange year, and taking good care of the whole customer journey. As our customer journey is rather long, your tasks will vary a lot depending on the time of the year, which makes the role very interesting since you always learn something new!

You will work closely with our Nordic Customer Success Manager to support the market and secure smooth preparations and support for our students. We would love if you have lived/worked/studied abroad yourself, but this isn’t a requirement, we welcome applicants from various backgrounds!

Responsibilities

  • Follow-up on students and guardians who confirmed their spot on the program.
  • Be a trusted contact person for students and guardians throughout the exchange period.
  • Represent the organization and present the company's product portfolio.
  • Build good relationships with existing clients, as well as school counselors.
  • Hold preparatory departure meetings for future exchange students and their guardians.
  • Create application and visa guides for countries that require this.
  • Manage application documents and travel for the student.
  • Build relationships and maintain good communication with respective recipient organizations.
  • Collaborate with our international colleagues and partners to create the best possible experience for our customers.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • Driven and goal-oriented
  • Knowledge of Finnish, Danish, or Norwegian is desirable but not a must
  • Previous experience in customer service – you understand each customer is unique, take pride in finding the right program for your customer, and follow through to ensure they had a great experience with STS
  • Great interest in delivering world-class customer experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Love building long-term relationships with customers and partners

Desired Skills/Qualities

  • Working experience within international education/tourism/sales/service or similar is beneficial
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
  • Can work independently and manage and prioritize your tasks
  • You enjoy challenges and love finding creative solutions
  • A team-player who shares ideas and wants to see others grow

We Offer

  • Become a part of a close-knit team in a global company with colleagues all around the world
  • Office location in Stockholm
  • Possibilities to travel
  • A long-term contract for a full-time position
  • A competitive benefit package and a modern view on work-life balance
  • Loads of opportunities to learn and grow with us!
  • Possibility to join a growing company and an industry with great momentum.
