Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable solutions for data processing, storage, and consumption.
• Implement distributed high-performance solutions using Apache Spark.
• Utilize advanced SQL skills to design efficient and optimized data models for large volumes of information.
• Work with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Manage and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Use cloud services, especially AWS, including S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lambda, and more.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Data Scientists, Data Architects, DevOps) in agile environments.
• Document processes and communicate clearly to both technical and business audiences.
• Propose improvements in existing data architectures and processes.

Requirements

• Solid experience in relational and non-relational databases, advanced SQL skills, and the ability to design efficient data models for large volumes of information.
• Advanced knowledge in programming languages such as Python and Scala, focused on data manipulation, transformation, and automation processes.
• Extensive experience in ETL/ELT tools and processes, including the design, construction, and maintenance of robust and scalable pipelines.
• Practical experience with Apache Spark, with the ability to implement high-performance distributed solutions.
• Advanced knowledge in massive storage systems such as Data Lake, using optimized formats like Parquet, Delta Lake, etc.
• Proficiency in cloud services, especially AWS, including services like S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lambda, and more. Additional experience in GCP or Azure is valued.
• Knowledge in Java, especially applied to batch processes or data system integration.
