Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable solutions for data processing, storage, and consumption.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Data Scientists, Data Architects, DevOps) in agile environments.
• Document processes and communicate clearly to both technical and business audiences.
• Propose improvements in existing data architectures and processes.

Requirements

• Solid experience in relational and non-relational databases, advanced knowledge of SQL, and the ability to design efficient and optimized data models for large volumes of information.
• Advanced knowledge in programming languages such as Python and Scala, oriented to the manipulation, transformation, and automation of data processes.
• Extensive experience in ETL/ELT tools and processes, including the design, construction, and maintenance of robust and scalable pipelines.
• Practical experience with Apache Spark, with the ability to implement high-performance distributed solutions.
• Advanced knowledge in massive storage systems such as Data Lake, use of optimized formats such as Parquet, Delta Lake, etc.
• Proficiency in cloud services, especially AWS, including services such as S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lambda, among others. Additional experience in GCP or Azure will be valued.
• Knowledge in Java is valued, especially applied to the development of batch processes or integration of data systems.
