About the Position

We are seeking a Progress 4GL OpenEdge Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our team in Wroclaw, Poland, focusing on regulatory reporting for investment banking.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain systems using Progress 4GL OpenEdge technology.
Perform system administration tasks related to the Progress 4GL OpenEdge environment.
Utilize Bash scripting for automation and system management.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and analyze system performance.
Manage and administer Progress 4GL OpenEdge databases.
Ensure system security and access controls are properly implemented.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience as a Progress 4GL OpenEdge Developer.
Comprehensive skills in Bash scripting for automation and system management.
Ability to perform system administration tasks related to the Progress 4GL OpenEdge environment.
Familiarity with system monitoring, troubleshooting, IT networking, and performance analysis.
Experience with Red Hat Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with shell commands, file manipulation, and process control.
Familiarity with GitLab or other version control and automated deployment tools.
Understanding of system security and access controls.

Nice to Have

Experience managing and administering Progress 4GL OpenEdge databases.
Proficiency in database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
