About the Position

The OSCE Presence in Albania is seeking a Project Assistant (G5) for a fixed-term appointment under the Extra Budgetary Project titled “Enhancing Media Literacy, Legal Frameworks and Legal Standards in Albania.” The role is based in Tirana and falls under the Democratization Department.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting correspondence, working documents, and background material related to media projects.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of project activities.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, budget follow-up, and preparing documents.
  • Keeping track of pending matters and following up on deadlines and budget.
  • Conducting computer-based searches and assisting in the preparation of papers and presentations.

Requirements

  • Completed secondary education supplemented by specialized training or studies.
  • Minimum five years of relevant working experience in administrative, program, or project support functions.
  • Experience in organizing events, coordinating administrative processes, and supporting project implementation.
  • Ability to conduct research, collect information, and provide summarized feedback.
  • Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Digital literacy and proficient use of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Albanian.

We Offer

  • Remuneration according to the OSCE salary scale, approximately 1,333 EUR, subject to National Social Security deductions.
  • OSCE salaries are exempt from taxation.
  • Appointments are normally made at Step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale.
