About the Position
As a Project Controls FLNG Lead Planner at Black & Veatch, you will oversee project controls and ensure successful project execution. This role involves managing a diverse team of professionals, leading planning and schedule preparation on complex projects, and collaborating with the project management leadership team to ensure project success.
Responsibilities

Planning/Scheduling:
- Leads planning and schedule preparation on more complex projects including startup planning.
- Addresses contractual requirements related to schedule control.
- Expert in scheduling forensics.

PJC Management:
- Leads project controls team on the most complex and highest risk projects.
- Integral part of the management team for project success.
- Collaborates with the project management leadership team to ensure project success.
- Identifies improvements to processes.
- Leads in developing staff capabilities.

PJC Specialist:
- Recognized as an expert in a project controls specialist area.
- Develops tools, systems & processes to optimize effectiveness.
Requirements
- Four-year Bachelor's degree with ten or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience OR twelve years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Experience serving in a Leadership role for a medium- to large-sized EPC project in both Home Office and Field.
- Certificate from either PMI or AACE.
