About the Position
Project Cost Controller DACH (m/f/d)
The Project Cost Controller DACH position will be based in Frankfurt.
NorthC Group operates data centers in Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. NorthC distinguishes itself by a strong local presence in various regions, high-quality services, and customized connectivity and hybrid cloud solutions. NorthC aims to be completely climate neutral by 2030, based on four sustainability pillars: 100% green energy, green hydrogen, optimal use of waste heat from data centers, and modular construction.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring project costs for all new build and expansion projects
- Identifying, analyzing, and explaining financial deviations
- Preparing monthly reports, cost reports, forecasts, and progress overviews
- Checking budgets, commitments, purchase orders, and project administration
- Ensuring that financial and administrative processes are carried out on time and correctly
- Advising project leaders and project management on cost developments and financial risks
- Actively collaborating with project leaders, planners, and finance colleagues
- Assisting with periodic closing processes and financial project meetings
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Cost Controller or Project Controller role
- Experience within infrastructure development, construction, engineering, or other project-based environments strongly preferred
- Experience supporting projects across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) is preferred
- Strong knowledge of project cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ability to identify financial risks and provide actionable recommendations
- Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems

NorthC Deutschland GmbH is expanding rapidly
NorthC acquires six data centers from Colt Technology Services in Germany and the Netherlands. The transaction includes data centers in key metropolitan regions such as Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Düsseldorf, and Amsterdam. Together, the facilities offer a total power capacity of over 25 MW. As part of the agreement, Colt and NorthC have entered into a long-term partnership, with Colt remaining a key customer in the data centers being acquired.

In addition, two more data centers are currently in the planning and construction phase in Frankfurt (Neu-Isenburg) and Berlin. These facilities are being built from the ground up.
