About the Position
As a Project Employee/Soil Consultant at TMC, you will work on a project basis for various clients in construction, consultancy, and engineering firms, as well as government institutions. Your focus lies in conducting soil investigations, advising on soil contamination and remediation, and ensuring quality and compliance with laws and regulations. You will perform tasks such as drafting reports, supervising fieldwork, and contributing to integrated civil engineering projects where soil plays a central role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct soil investigations and provide expert advice on soil contamination and remediation.
- Draft reports and supervise fieldwork.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams on civil engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as the Soil Protection Act.
Requirements
- Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- A completed higher vocational (HBO) or university (WO) degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a comparable field of study.
- 0-3 years of work experience in soil investigation, soil consulting, or environmental guidance.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and familiarity with soil systems, raw materials, and soil mechanics.
- Ability to execute projects independently and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- A valid Category B driver's license is necessary, as you will regularly work on-location.
