Project Manager

About the Position

TITLE - PROJECT MANAGER

As the PM, you will support the team leader on project management duties and responsibilities including pre-construction, material procurement, project estimation, contract administration and closeout, identifying and mitigating risk, and project financial setup and maintenance. The role does not require travel or weekends and comes with company vehicle or car allowance options.

Responsibilities

• Manage the earthwork & utilities per project
• Design logistical and conduct method analysis for the project manager
• Execute material quantity takeoff and prepare estimates for the projects
• Project planning, scheduling and coordination done using Primavera P6 software (not required)
• Prepare/review reports on progress, material costs and adjust work schedules accordingly
• Safety and quality control management
• Procure and mobilize material & equipment, staff labor for all the projects
• Ensuring labor and equipment meet their maximum productivity
• Managing critical subcontractors and ensure timely work done
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and tools management
• Identify and mitigate risk during procurement and construction stages

Requirements

• Minimum Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or work experience
  • Prior internship experience with earthwork/ utilities contractor related work is a plus
  • Considerable knowledge of the construction industry is required
  • Software knowledge (not required)
    • Prior knowledge in material and project scheduling software Primavera P6
    • Estimation and quantity takeoff softwares like Agtek Materials 4D, VU 360, CAD, Bluebeam, Excel etc.
  • Minimum License Requirements
    • Requires a valid Texas driver's license.
