Project Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a Project Manager with three years management experience in the IT field to lead technical projects for a global lottery solutions provider. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and deployment industry standards, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in project management software such as JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned technical projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
• Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects.
• Sets and tracks project milestones; manages unforeseen delays.
• Establishes and implements project communication plans.
• Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information to prepare project status reports.
• Facilitates gathering and validation of project requirements.
• Develops and maintains project performance databases.
• Ensures all parts of an assigned project are progressing according to timelines and deliverable dates.
• Regularly communicates with customers/clients to arrange meetings and discuss project problems.
• Coordinates internal and external resources to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Develops and communicates detailed specifications for implementation.
• Analyzes project progress and adapts timelines as necessary.
• Forecasts potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project management documentation.
• Analyzes risks and provides regular updates to Senior Management regarding project status and any problems or potential problems.

Requirements

• Minimum three years management experience in the IT field, including development work and interactions with customers.
• Knowledge of software development and deployment industry standards.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors, and management.
• Organizational skills and time management skills to keep projects on track.
• Project managing skills to start and finish projects successfully.
• Experience working with cross-functional agile teams.
• Proficient use of project management software (e.g., JIRA).
• Excellent knowledge of Agile techniques and artefacts (e.g., Definition of ready/done, user stories, epics, features, backlog, splitting stories, etc).
• Experience creating proactive self-organizing teams.
• A continuous improvement attitude.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Experience of delivering in an environment where multiple development teams are involved.
• Proficient in Polish language.

Nice to Have

• Professional Project Management Certification from an accredited institution.
• Professional Scrum Master Certification from an accredited institution.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Italian.
• IT Technical background (Architect, Engineer, QA, etc.) is considered a plus.
