Project Manager

About the Position

Che IT Group is looking for an experienced and goal-oriented Project Manager to join our team in Ukraine. Manage web projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of web projects: from requirement gathering to launch and support;
• Communicate with clients: status updates, planning, documenting decisions, managing expectations;
• Create and maintain backlog, plan sprints, control task prioritization;
• Coordinate the work of developers, designers, QA, DevOps, and other specialists;
• Apply Kanban/Scrum methodologies;
• Monitor deadlines, budgets, and quality;
• Analyze risks, manage changes, and maintain project documentation;
• Participate in improving processes and internal project management practices.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in web development;
• Practical experience managing WordPress projects (understanding architecture, common plugins, deployment processes, staging/live environments, etc.);
• English - Upper-Intermediate for fluent oral and written communication with clients, documentation, and task descriptions;
• Technical understanding of basic web concepts: domain, hosting, server, SSL, CMS, integrations, caching, API, etc.;
• Basic understanding of SEO principles (site structure, metadata, indexing, redirects, page speed);
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with developers, designers, QA, and clients;
• Highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented;
• Ability to make independent decisions, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Webflow or Shopify projects;
• Experience in pre-sales activities/processes.
