About the Position
Project Manager, Commercial Strategy Execution
Join Belden Inc as a Project Manager for Commercial Strategy Execution in Chicago, IL, and shape the future of intelligent connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Translate commercial priorities into workstreams, milestones, owners, and actions.
- Manage the Commercial Strategy operating cadence and governance process.
- Coordinate across vertical, technology, sales, marketing, product, innovation, regional, partner, and support teams.
- Identify ownership gaps, dependencies, risks, overlaps, and unresolved decisions.
- Prepare leadership updates, recommendations, and decision materials.
- Track progress, commitments, actions, and accountability.
- Ensure Scaling Solutions and new commercial motions support the existing business.
- Communicate priorities, decisions, responsibilities, and expectations across functions.
Requirements
- Core Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial judgment
- Program and project management
- Cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management
- Clear written, verbal, and executive communication
- Ability to turn ambiguity into structured plans
- Ability to identify tradeoffs, risks, and strategic gaps
- Understanding of complex global, regional, product, solution, and channel organizations
Deliverables
- Commercial Strategy operating model and governance cadence
- Integrated commercial strategic plan and workstream map
- Defined owners, milestones, dependencies, and decision points
- Leadership update and progress-reporting format
- Decision log, action tracker, and risk register
- Stakeholder communication plan
- Consolidated view of vertical, technology, GTM, thought leadership, and Scaling Solutions activities
- A 12- to 18-month Commercial Strategy execution roadmap
We Offer
- Compensation: Base salary range of $130,000 - 170,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives.
