About the Position
We are seeking a Project Manager for Fair & Convention Centers in Salzburg, Austria. This role involves providing operational support, cross-departmental tasks, and customer advising.
Responsibilities
- Operational support for international customers in the trade fair and event sector, as well as associated parking management
- Cross-departmental organizational tasks and coordination as part of the project management team
- Proactive operation and monitoring of customer systems
- An important link to contribute significantly to the success of the trade fair sector, primarily in the DACH region
- On-site and remote support at trade fair events: ticketing, access management, trade visitor registration, exhibitor management, and lead tracking
- Advising customers on software and hardware issues - consulting
- Identifying potential for improvement and initiating internal processes through customer and market proximity
- Close customer contact and user training
Requirements
- Structured working style, willingness to learn, and a high level of initiative
- Very good written and spoken English and German skills
- Polite demeanor with customers
- Stress-resistant: You keep a cool head and find solutions under pressure
- Good knowledge of common MS Office products
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Atlassian Jira is an advantage
- Routine in presentation and training tasks
- Ability to work in a team and a high level of initiative, Problem-solving skills
- Class B driver's license
- Flexibility regarding business travel and willingness to work occasional weekend shifts
- Technically oriented training (HTL, FH, university), such as electrical engineering, mechatronics, or IT, is an advantage
