About the Position
Project Manager/ Project Coordinator
Location: Hong Kong
Salary: HK$35,000 to HK$45,000 HKD per month
My client, an SI company with headquarters in Hong Kong but business across the region, is now seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Project Manager / Project Coordinator to support the delivery of technology projects. The ideal candidate will have solid project management experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage IT projects from initiation through delivery
- Assist in defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with deadlines, budget, and quality standards
- Coordinate internal resources, external vendors, and stakeholders
- Prepare project documentation, status reports, risk assessments, and meeting minutes
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices
- Support change management processes and project governance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in IT project management or project coordination
- PMP / PMI certification preferred (or equivalent project management certification)
- Proven experience managing or supporting IT system implementations or technology projects
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluent in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage
