Project Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a Project Manager to join BEUMER Group, a leading manufacturer in intralogistics, for a full-time role with flexible work options.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, your main functions/tasks will be:

• Early interaction with the sales and engineering team during the bidding/sales phase.
• Execution of new sales projects, from contract signing to customer delivery, as well as modernization projects of the installed base led by the BEUMER Customer Service department.
• Organizing projects using the BEUMER Stage Gate model with planning, specifications, design, production, installation/commissioning, and agreements to execute within the agreed timeframe.
• Proactive and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure transparency, clarity, and commitment throughout the project.
• Leading a multidisciplinary project team throughout the project lifecycle in coordination with other entities of the BEUMER Group.
• Leading key project management processes such as scope/requirements management, supply chain management, change management, risk management, etc.
• Being proactive, identifying and managing opportunities and risks continuously with the appropriate level of engagement from project stakeholders, managing potential charges and delayed claims, and creating essential documentation.
• Responsible for the overall project delivery in terms of quality/capacity, technically, timelines, and finances.
• Developing and updating the project schedule.
• Creating financial reports and controlling the project budget.
• Technical clarification with the project engineering team and on-site support during installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
• Preparing reports, tracking project tasks, updating monthly status reports.
• Coordinating and preparing meetings with clients, as well as for internal alignment/reports.
• Following up on open items and accelerating critical project activities.
• Keeping project documents up-to-date and managing changes with the team.
• Conducting site visits to hold progress meetings with the client and suppliers if necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or process engineering) or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
• Several years of project management experience within mechanical or plant engineering, ideally coordinating works/construction management, and at least two years of international work experience.
• In-depth knowledge in at least one technical area: mechanics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or control/automation technology.
• Ideally, you have a PMP certification or equivalent qualification in project management.
• You are proficient in SAP and project management/project planning tools (e.g., MS Project).
• You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner, and possess strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a team-oriented mindset.
• You have excellent presentation and negotiation skills, and a professional and confident attitude.
• You have solid interface management skills to collaborate with internal departments and external partners.
• You are willing to travel locally or internationally and have excellent Spanish and English language skills, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license.
