Project Manager, Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

About the Position

We are looking for a Project Manager for Tieto Banktech to join our team in Fornebu, Norway. Tieto Banktech is the leading financial services software and solution partner in the Nordics. We offer modular, pre-integrated banking as a service solutions and market-leading software for core, payments, credit, cards, financial fraud, and wealth. With our scale, expertise, and specialization, we empower financial institutions to enhance agility, efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead significant customer projects and ensure results according to the contracts, agreed scope, plans, and financial targets.
• Day-to-day management of project deliveries including contract fulfillment, profitability, invoicing, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate the project objective and set the expectations for the team members. Responsible for setting the direction for the team during project work.
• Establish a good project culture, motivate the project team, and promote a good working environment and morale.
• Report project status, progress, and estimates with agreed frequency to the steering group.
• Prepare the basis for decisions including proposing project changes.
• Ensure the project organization and working method are suitable, documented, and clear. Identify and introduce improvements.

Requirements

• University degree MSc, BSc, or equivalent competence, preferably within technology or economy.
• Project management skills, demonstrated through experience working on cross-functional projects.
• Communication skills and ability to inspire and collaborate efficiently with key stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of the banking sector is a plus.
• Fluent in Norwegian, oral and written is a prerequisite.
