Project / Program Manager
Tech Stack
Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements
About the Position
Ignyte is seeking a high-output Project / Program Manager who can operate across multiple client environments, drive accountability, and keep execution moving at speed. This role is not an administrative coordinator role. We need someone who can execute like a project manager but think like a portfolio manager - balancing delivery, client satisfaction, margin, prioritization, staffing constraints, and operational risk simultaneously.
Location: Remote (EST Time Zone Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple client projects and programs simultaneously.
- Coordinate activities between Ignyte teams, clients, and external vendors.
- Track timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and delivery quality.
- Ensure SLAs, milestones, and contractual commitments are met.
- Drive accountability across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build and maintain project plans, WBS structures, status reporting, and executive updates.
- Run smaller engagements using agile execution methods.
- Run larger or long-duration efforts using structured project/program management methodologies.
- Support pricing awareness, project profitability, and resource coordination.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations, client updates, and operational briefings.
- Escalate delivery risks early and proactively.
- Help leadership understand delivery capacity, prioritization conflicts, and operational bottlenecks.
Requirements
- 4+ years of project or program management experience.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent client-facing projects.
- Strong organizational discipline and follow-through.
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to retain and quickly understand technical and operational material.
- Ability to lead meetings, drive decisions, and keep teams aligned.
- Strong presentation and executive communication capability.
- Experience coordinating third-party vendors or service providers preferred.
- Familiarity with agile workflows and traditional project planning methodologies.
Nice to Have
- Formal Agile or Scrum training/certification.
- Highly proficient in organizing, tracking, and communicating work across multiple systems and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Comfortable using platforms such as ClickUp, spreadsheets, dashboards, and other project management software.
What This Role Is Not
This is not a slow-moving, highly bureaucratic program management environment. We are not looking for someone whose experience is primarily centered around massive long-cycle government programs with heavy administrative overhead and limited execution velocity.
The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced services environment where priorities shift quickly, clients expect responsiveness, and execution matters more than process theater.
Ideal Candidate
You are:
- Fast-moving and highly organized.
- Calm under pressure.
- Commercially aware.
- Able to identify problems before they become client escalations.
- Comfortable pushing teams for accountability.
- Able to translate chaos into execution.
You understand that successful delivery is not just about checking boxes - it is about protecting client trust, delivery quality, operational efficiency, and profitability at the same time.
