Project Secretary (Chinese-speaking)

About the Position

We are seeking a Project Secretary (Chinese-speaking) for our SGS B&I projects in Northern Vietnam. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide project administration, document control, and Mandarin–Vietnamese language support for SGS B&I projects.
• Support the Project Manager and supervision team in maintaining accurate records, coordinating communication with Chinese-speaking clients and contractors, and following up on agreed actions.
• Ensure project information is issued, tracked, and archived in accordance with project procedures.

Requirements

• Education: College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Business Administration, Construction, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in project administration, document control, or translation; construction/industrial projects preferred.
• Skills:
  • Good command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic filing.
  • Able to prepare minutes, trackers, and reports.
  • Strong Mandarin and Vietnamese speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills; HSK 5 or equivalent ability preferred.
  • English reading and email skills are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with construction terminology is preferred.
• Attributes: Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-up, and communication skills; able to handle confidential information.

• Experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

We Offer

• Competitive salary: VND 15,000,000 - VND 25,000,000 per month.
• Full-time position.
• Opportunity to work at project sites in Northern Vietnam and travel as assigned.
