About the Position

We are looking for a Projectleider Energie to join our team at TMC, an international high-tech consultancy firm. You will be leading integral multi-disciplinary energy infrastructure projects, focusing on high-voltage stations, overhead line connections, and underground infrastructure. Your role will challenge you to excel technically and ensure the best results in engineering execution and planning. You will oversee not only the technical aspects but also the commercial and legal implications, making you the specialist our clients, such as TenneT, Energy Companies, regional grid operators, and contractors, need.

Depending on the project, you will manage it through all phases, from feasibility studies to construction supervision, ensuring excellent financial project management. With your knowledge and experience, you will enthusiastically lead a team of expert colleagues. You will maintain contact with all stakeholders to ensure everyone knows what they need to do. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and teaching junior colleagues the intricacies of the trade.

You will be the point of contact for clients and ultimately responsible for projects where quality, planning, and budget are paramount. You thrive on challenges, variety, and thinking outside the box, which you will find in abundance at WSP.

Your ambition also lies in acquiring and expanding challenging engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage integral multi-disciplinary energy infrastructure projects.
• Ensure technical excellence and optimal results in project execution and planning.
• Oversee technical, commercial, and legal aspects of projects.
• Communicate clearly and inspire your team and stakeholders.
• Manage project finances and budgets effectively.
• Mentor and teach junior colleagues.

Requirements

• HBO/WO diploma in electrical engineering, engineering, or construction.
• Several years of experience as a project leader.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to achieve optimal results.
• Natural leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch and English.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

• A permanent employment contract with a salary up to €6000+ gross per month, depending on experience.
