At SGS Search, we work daily on environmental issues in the field of soil research and soil remediation. Our clients rely on independent research, clear advice, and practical solutions that comply with applicable laws and regulations.

As a Projectleider Milieu, you will be the connecting link between the client, colleagues in the internal and external services, and the execution of the project. You ensure that projects are well-prepared, run smoothly, and are substantively correct. You maintain an overview, provide guidance where necessary, and think along with the best solution for the client.

Be Part of an Enthusiastic Team

From day one, you will become part of our Environmental Research team. This team is part of the Built Environment business unit and operates from Heeswijk on projects throughout the Netherlands. Within the team, approximately 15 specialists and researchers work in both internal and external services. Together, they are involved in conducting soil research and guiding soil remediation. This ranges from simple, short-term projects to long-term and phased research and remediation projects.

As part of SGS, you will also have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge. For example, topics such as eDNA, biodiversity, and other environmental issues within the broader organization. This means you not only work on your own projects but also continue to develop yourself substantively within an international organization with extensive specialist knowledge. Our goal, and soon yours too, is to find the best solution for the issues of our clients.

Responsibilities

No Two Days Are Alike

Within the team, you will independently take on projects. You will supervise colleagues within your projects and be responsible for the complete management of the assignments under your responsibility. You will have a lot of freedom to take initiative and develop yourself. If you enjoy variety, responsibility, and tackling challenges, then you are in the right place at SGS Search.

A selection of your responsibilities:

• Maintaining contact with clients
• Writing and following up on quotations
• Managing and guiding projects
• Conducting or substantively reviewing various types of soil research
• Monitoring planning, quality, costs, and project administration
• Handling invoicing and correct project completion
• Supervising junior project leaders, project staff, and field staff
• Acting as a sparring partner and point of contact for colleagues

Requirements

Are You Up for the Challenge?

To be successful as a Projectleider Milieu, you need a completed secondary or higher education in an environmental direction. You also have several years of experience in guiding soil research and soil remediation.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You work carefully and keep a good overview
• You can switch between different projects and interests

• A salary between €4,500 and €6,000 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on age, education, and experience
