About the Position

As a Maintenance Project Manager at SWARCO, you are responsible for the complete organization, project monitoring, finances, and communication of various maintenance contracts from our location in Wormerveer. A diverse portfolio that includes bridges and locks, as well as technical installations at Schiphol. Of course, you do not do this alone. You lead the service leader and technical manager and work closely with the project coordinators and service technicians within the team. They are closely involved in daily operations, while you maintain oversight of the entire process.

You understand how maintenance contracts work and what is needed to successfully execute them. You ensure that contracts run as intended, with a firm grip on planning, quality, costs, and risks. You are visibly involved, keep your finger on the pulse, and intervene where necessary. You make clear agreements and ensure that everyone knows what is expected of them. You work closely with subcontractors and other internal partners to ensure that work is carried out safely and efficiently.

You also play an important role towards our clients. You discuss progress, ensure that agreements are met, and build a sustainable partnership. You think along on improvements and advise on the optimal use and performance of the installations.

In addition to managing existing contracts, you also have a clear commercial role. Whether it's improvements within existing contracts or opportunities in the region, you identify opportunities and turn them into concrete results. You work with the tender team, providing crucial technical and commercial input, and are not afraid to develop a proposal yourself and present it to the client. You are the face of SWARCO in the region, and that face should be seen! This makes you not only a manager but also an entrepreneur.

You work closely with colleagues within SWARCO and with other maintenance project managers in different regions. Together, you form the maintenance network of SWARCO. You have a lot of freedom in your role, but you are never alone.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee maintenance contracts
• Lead and guide the service leader and technical manager
• Collaborate with project coordinators and service technicians
• Ensure successful project execution
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders
• Identify and capitalize on business opportunities
• Provide technical and commercial input for tenders

Requirements

• Minimum HBO work and thinking level, preferably in a technical field such as electrical engineering, industrial automation, or similar
• Several years of experience in a role as project manager, service manager, or contract manager in a technical or infrastructural environment
• Experience in leading teams and collaborating with subcontractors
• Experience with maintenance contracts and/or asset management is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written

• A gross monthly salary between € 4.392,- and € 8.316,-, depending on your knowledge and experience
