We’re looking for an experienced professional to fill the position of Project Manager for digital and hybrid events. In this role, you’ll be responsible for livestreaming projects-from technical planning through to live execution-on our virtual event platform, Techcast Event Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Leading and coordinating livestreaming projects (such as webcasts, online conferences, and corporate events) from concept to implementation on our own virtual event platform, Techcast Event Cloud.

• Livestreaming-Verantwortung (onsite und remote): Technische Leitung von Livestreams – Encoder-Konfiguration, Redundanz-/Failover-Setups, Multi-Kamera-Produktion und Übertragungsqualität – von der Vorproduktion bis zur Live-Sendung.

• Live-Regie & Streaming-Operating (remote): Übernahme der Live-Regie sowie der Streaming-Operator-Tätigkeiten für Remote-Projekte in unserem browserbasierten Virtual Studio – von der Einbindung externer Speaker:innen über Bildmischung und Einblendungen bis zur stabilen Ausspielung des Streams.

• Team leadership: Leading and guiding the project management team during event preparation and implementation.

• Quality Control: Ensuring streaming quality standards (video, audio, latency, reliability) and adherence to schedules.

• Budget management: Monitoring and managing project budgets.

Requirements

• A completed degree or vocational training in media technology, event technology, film and television production, or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of experience in technical project management.

• Live Streaming Experience: Demonstrable experience in the technical execution of live streams.

• Excellent knowledge of video editing and post-production.

• Proficiency in using DaVinci Resolve and vMix (or comparable production and media software).

• Experience with production workflows for on-location shoots and in green-screen studios.

• Communication skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical issues in an understandable way.

• Organizational skills: Structured approach to work and strong problem-solving abilities.

• Flexibility: Class B driver's license, willingness to travel for events and flexible working hours.
