Prompt Engineer (LLMs & AI Evaluation)

About the Position

Inetum, a European leader in digital services, is seeking a Senior Prompt Engineer for a strategic project in Generative Artificial Intelligence. Based in Bilbao, Spain, the selected candidate will work with functional and business teams to optimize interactions with Generative AI models, designing, refining, and evaluating advanced prompts to maximize the quality of results obtained.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize prompts for different business use cases.
• Refine and evolve existing prompts to improve accuracy, relevance, and response quality.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into generative AI solutions.
• Analyze results obtained by different LLMs.
• Define methodologies for evaluating and measuring the quality of prompts.
• Conduct A/B testing of prompts and compare behaviors between models.
• Evaluate different LLMs using the same sets of prompts to determine the most suitable model for each business objective.
• Document findings, best practices, and reusable patterns.
• Automate tests and evaluations using scripts and support tools.
• Participate in sessions with international teams in English.
• Contribute to the adoption of good Prompt Engineering practices within the organization.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, or STEM disciplines.
• Practical experience in Artificial Intelligence projects is valued.
• Technical knowledge of Generative AI (Prompt Engineering, LLMs, Generative AI, prompt evaluation techniques, iterative prompt optimization, few-shot prompting, Chain of Thought Prompting, Structured Prompting).
• Previous experience working with Generative AI models, designing and optimizing prompts for LLMs, evaluating and comparing responses generated by AI models.
• Experience collaborating with functional users or business teams in Agile or technological innovation environments.
• Programming: Advanced Python, automation using Python scripts.
