About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive PR Associate, EMEA to help scale our communications program across the region. In this role, you will report to our EMEA PR lead to craft compelling stories, secure high-impact coverage, and manage regional execution from concept to completion. You’ll collaborate directly with a cross-functional team of Cloudflare experts-spanning engineering, legal and policy, partner marketing, and executive leadership. Responsibilities

Assist the PR Director, EMEA in managing PR operations including editorial calendar, content, execution, reporting, and PR agency coordination
Focus on EMEA partner PR, regional speaking opportunities, and media awards
Contribute to promoting press releases, blog posts, and other materials to support regional and local communications initiatives
Collaborate with PR agencies
Help manage day-to-day execution for EMEA PR programs
Support to monitor and manage inbound media requests
Organize media briefings, interviews, and PR-focused events
Help to maintain strong media relationships across all types of media outlets, develop story ideas, and manage stories
Support and help manage key executive spokespeople

Requirements

PR Experience: 3–5 years of B2B tech PR experience (in-house or agency) focused on the EMEA region
Technical Curiosity: An ability to get under the hood of complex technology and translate technical concepts into simple, compelling narratives
Modern Toolkit: Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, research, and content creation
Language Fluency: Fluency in one or more European languages alongside English, ideally Spanish and/or Italian

We Offer

Compensation: Estimated annual salary is between €41,000 - €56,000 for Portugal-based hires
Equity: This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan
