About the Position
Public Safety Application Sales Representative - Midwest
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Safety Application Sales Representative for the Midwest region to join our team at Oracle. This role is pivotal in driving sales and enhancing local government operations through our tailor-made solutions.
Responsibilities
- Sales Pipeline Management: Build, advance, and maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet annual quota objectives.
- Value Proposition Delivery: Accurately understand, deliver, and articulate Oracle’s Local Government value propositions to local government agency prospects and decision-makers.
- Software Demonstrations: Ability to demonstrate software solutions to agency leadership and end-users.
- Collaboration: Assist and collaborate with the Sales Operations team to prepare RFP responses, pricing, and budgetary proposals.
- Client Relationship Management: Supervise all activity related to your opportunities sales processes within Oracle’s Sales Cloud.
- Market Awareness: Stay up to date on the Public Safety competitive landscape and technology.
- Professionalism: Be a good human and team member.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of experience selling Public Safety, Computer-Aided Dispatch/Records Management, and/or related software/hardware solutions.
- Sales Expertise: 5+ years of Business to Government selling and running sophisticated and long sales cycles from lead development through the closing of the sale.
- Sales Quotas: A history of consistently meeting sales quotas and crafting/growing pipelines in net new territories.
- Technical Background: Strong applications background and understanding of software systems.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills to complete sophisticated sales transactions and provide information and transparency to any sales deal or problem resolution situation.
- Professional Conduct: Conducts interactions with internal/external clients, peers, and management in a polished and highly professional manner.
- Self-Starter: Must be a proven self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative and ownership of the sales territory.
We Offer
- Competitive Salary: Hiring Range in USD from $68,400 to $147,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
- Commission: Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50.
