About the Position

PURCHASING & SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST

Kronospan, a leading manufacturer of wood-based panels, is seeking a Purchasing & Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. This role combines coordination and direct management responsibilities to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Control and Operational Management: Order entry and fulfillment verification; management of non-conformities and disputes; support for technical warehouse management and monthly inventories.
• Supplier Development and Negotiation: Research and qualify new suppliers, manage requests for quotations, negotiations, and renegotiations, prepare contract drafts, and agree on conditions, bonuses, and penalties.
• Supply Chain and Planning: Ensure material availability within required timeframes by continuously monitoring supplier performance, reliability, and delivery times, and proposing optimization solutions.
• Cost Reduction: Identify and promote savings and improvement projects (PIP).
• Office Management: Ensure the correct application of purchasing processes and controls, coordinate and support colleagues.
• Budget and Reporting: Prepare and monitor the budget for assigned costs; prepare required Group reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma.
• Several years of experience in a similar role in purchasing and/or supply chain, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing context.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, written and spoken: the role involves constant interaction with suppliers and colleagues of the Group at an international level.
• Good knowledge of purchasing processes, delivery terms, payment methods, and basic contractual aspects.
• Good calculation and data analysis skills and market conditions.

We Offer

• Full-time contract - CCNL Legno Industria - Level AC3 - Gross annual salary from 45K to 50K EUR.
