About the Position

Python Developer Trainee

We are inviting you to join our 3-month Internship Program with LaSoft, offering the opportunity to receive a Job Offer and become part of our team.

This program is designed for Trainee-level candidates who already have a basic foundation in Python and backend development and wish to apply their knowledge in a real project.

From day one, you will work as part of a team and apply your existing knowledge in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work in a SCRUM team as a Python Trainee, completing tasks similar to real production processes.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of backend API; work with data and business logic; integrate third-party services and AI functionality; deploy solutions and basic DevOps processes.
• Collaborate daily with developers, QA, and PM, receiving regular feedback during code reviews from a Mentor.

Requirements

• Confident understanding of Python and programming fundamentals.
• Practical experience with:
  • Functions, loops, data structures.
  • Basics of OOP.
• Basic understanding of HTTP, REST API, and client-server interaction.
• Experience with API (requests, responses, status codes).
• Experience with FastAPI.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and working with databases.
• Understanding of backend logic and database interaction.
• Experience writing code in educational or pet projects.
• Completed Python course or equivalent self-study.
• English – B1+
• Willingness to intern 6–8 hours per day.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Django / Flask.
• Understanding of Git and basic workflows.
• Basic understanding of Docker or deployment.
