About the Position
We're seeking a Python Engineer skilled in Cloud technologies to support a strategic initiative for one of our major clients. You will build, refine, and deploy secure, scalable solutions leveraging Python and contemporary cloud platforms. Working alongside cross-functional teams will be critical to developing innovative software systems that tackle complex business problems and support digital transformation efforts.
This position operates under a hybrid model, with three in-office days per week required at either our Krakow or Gdansk location.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software using Python across web applications, APIs, data pipelines, AI/ML models, and automation tools
- Architect and oversee cloud-based systems on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Build scalable microservices and serverless applications leveraging cloud-native tools and frameworks
- Enhance data pipelines and workflows through Python and cloud services like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or GCP Cloud Functions
- Strengthen system reliability and scalability through best coding practices, automated testing, and robust monitoring
- Collaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams to gather requirements, refine features, and roll out solutions
- Establish CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency within cloud environments
- Troubleshoot production issues and enhance system performance across cloud infrastructures
- Stay current with Python developments, cloud innovations, and emerging tools
- Guide junior team members, conduct code reviews, and maintain quality standards throughout the team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum 3 years of Python development experience, particularly with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Professional experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with practical use of related services
- Proficiency in cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless frameworks
- Ability to design RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Familiarity with database technologies, spanning relational databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL and non-relational options like MongoDB/DynamoDB
- Solid grasp of software development best practices, Agile methodologies, Git version control, and unit testing
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing technical obstacles
- Strong communication skills and capacity to work effectively within team environments
