This is the job

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer (Python) to build and operate scalable backend services and APIs. You'll work across the full product lifecycle, from development and deployment to monitoring and continuous improvement, using modern cloud technologies and engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python
• Deploy and operate applications in AWS using Docker and CI/CD
• Optimize performance, reliability, and integrations
• Support quality through testing, code reviews, and documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong Python backend development experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Experience with REST APIs and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Ownership mindset and ability to deliver end-to-end solutions

Nice to Have

• Django, FastAPI, or Flask
• Terraform or CloudFormation
• Redis or Celery
• Frontend experience
• Exposure to LLMs or AI-based products
