About the Position
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer / Software Tester to join our team in Salzburg, Austria. Responsibilities include generating test files, automating test cases, and coordinating with software developers.
Responsibilities
- Generate test files and automate these test cases in an existing framework
- Implement test architectures and test procedures
- Create, analyze, and maintain test systems for continuous integration
- Regularly coordinate with the software developers at HQ and branch offices
- Identify, understand, and mitigate risks
- Play an important role in the CI/CD process
- Monitor and analyze the live system after an update to minimize migration risks
- Derive measures based on the results
Requirements
- Passion and experience for software quality, testing, and test automation
- College degree in systems engineering, computer science, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience
- Passion for programming and automation
- Experience in test automation tools for API, GUI, or system testing
- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL
- Ability to break down use cases into executable test cases
- Ability to keep the essentials in mind
- Analytical thinking
- Good English and German language skills
- Ability to describe a bug so well that another person can understand it with ease
