About the Position

QA Automation Trainee (Cloud)

Our client is a worldwide manufacturer of smart beds, which increase the overall quality of sleep. The solution senses and automatically adjusts the comfort level:

• Tracking personal sleep data during the night
• Individual comfort and temperature balancing
• Comfort adjustability on each side of the bed
• The project is related to developing cutting-edge sensor technology and data processing algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Designing test cases
• Creating automated test cases using RobotFramework
• Testing of REST APIs in AWS Cloud
• Testing, test data preparation and issues investigation activities
• Communication with the US team on a daily basis

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field – completed or in progress
• Good understanding of testing theory (types of testing, techniques, test design)
• Programming skills in Python (preferred) or Java
• Understanding of REST API
• Understanding of Cloud systems
• Understanding of Jenkins and/or other build systems
• Basic docker/containerization
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• English – upper-intermediate+

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing
