QA Engineer

Location: Canada - Remote

Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer, you are passionate about delivering high-quality digital experiences and eager to expand your skills in automated testing. You bring around 3+ years of hands-on experience in Automated testing and Manual testing, a growth mindset, and the motivation to develop stronger quality assurance expertise while making a meaningful impact on the team and the product.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

+3 years of experience writing automated and manual tests or developing features, including but not limited to writing and executing web or mobile applications, automated tests, and automated API tests.
Experience developing automated tests in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience in QA Automation, preferably in end-to-end (E2E) automation with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.
Analytical skills and the ability to portray information in a logical and well-organized manner.
Experience working in agile/scrum environments.
Strong skills in communicating clearly and negotiating in French and English.
Highly motivated self-starter, a team player who works well on cross-functional teams.
Proven record of developing strong, positive relationships with the software development team, especially developers and business analysts.
Strong experience working with project management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar).
Experience in different kinds of testing (Blackbox, Whitebox, regression, smoke, functional, and non-functional).
Experience writing end-to-end UI tests.

Nice to Have

Experience writing API and integration tests with the use of mocking frameworks.
Good understanding of XML and JSON structures.
Basic experience in building automated tests for APIs using RestAssured, RestSharp, Postman, or GraphQL.
Some experience performing mobile application testing by using emulators, Cloud testing tools (Browserstack, Crossbrowsertesting, etc).
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

We Offer

This is a Full-Time position based in Canada. The offered salary range is CAD $69,000 to $86,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
