QA Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a dedicated QA Engineer to join the Software Development Competence Centre at Medicover. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the high quality of software applications in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team responsible for functional testing and regression testing;
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve testing practices;
• Ensure proper version control and configuration management of test environments used;
• Provide accurate and relevant information regarding the quality of the system following the regression testing phase;
• Utilize various methods of testing (e.g. functional, exploratory, stress, integration, regression) in order to efficiently cover the impacted areas;
• Follow the Scrum Methodology throughout the entire development process;
• Provide training and skill development support for new team members;
• Provide support for production and UAT incidents;
• Participate in application planning meetings;

Requirements

• Relevant experience in a similar position;
• Understanding of the high-level principles and structures of software systems;
• Experience with tracking tools;
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Experience working with SQL is a plus;
• Ability to work in a self-organized team;
• Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and complying with strict deadlines;
• Proactive behavior, good organizational and time management skills;
• Great communication skills with both local and external teams.
