About the Position
We are seeking a QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience in IT projects testing to join our team for a new Surveillance Management system for a well-known company in the world. The solution will consist of two main modules: Agent and hosted Web UI. It provides the ability to collect data/statistics, analyze, and manage different types of network devices and topology based on different network protocols.
Responsibilities
- Functional & Integration Testing: Ensuring that the functional requirements are met and all modules work together as expected.
- Exploratory Tests: Figuring out the behavior in situations like “what if...”.
- “Fool-proof” Tests: Ensuring all UI forms and modules are bulletproof from user errors and from deliberately wrongful user actions.
- Security Testing: Ensuring that no one can get unauthorized access to modules/data or exploit security weaknesses in the application to get the same.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in IT projects testing
- Strong analytic skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of web software principles
- Must have the ability to analyze functionality, determine key test scenarios, tricky situations, and possible failure points.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Must be disciplined in daily duties, diligent attitude to details
- Good level of technical English for reading/writing
