QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer who will join our team for long-time cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a strategy for quality coordination and testing
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

Requirements

• 1+ years of software testing
• Strong knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, standards, and practices
• Experience in web/desktop/mobile applications testing
• Experience with creating test documentation: test plans, test cases, check-lists, bug reports
• Experience with Bug Tracking Systems (Jira, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Strong knowledge of spoken and written English – intermediate
• Responsible, detail-oriented, independent, and high-performance individual, initiator, excellent learning abilities, great communication, and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of test automation basics
• Experience with web security testing (SQL-injection, XSS, etc)
• Knowledge how to write a responsive UI (knowledge of CSS transitions is a must)
• Knowledge of Hebrew
